Images of documents are often
captured and stored in Tiff formats that require proprietary
viewers to display. Most browsers offer little or no
support for the Tiff Group/4 images, JPEG 2000 images
or many other formats.
TiffSurfer is an affordable, easy-to-use
plug-in that not only displays Tiff images but allows
use of your Internet browser to preview these images
by scanning through thumbnails or groups of pages. This
powerful tool provides image viewing, manipulation,
annotation, redaction, stamping, cleaning, printing,
PDF generation, reformatting, barcode recognition, copy
to clipboard, text recognition and output. It can even
scan and capture new pages using most scanners.

You can easily embed images into an HTML file and then set
up files to display groups of images whether they are local
or on the Internet, automatically sizing them for optimal
usage. TiffSurfer can also be customized during installation
to lock out certain features such as image saving and printing.
TiffSurfer also allows you to extract text from images using
our advanced multilingual OCR reader. Simply select an area
of the page or the whole page and click on the OCR button.
In seconds, the selected area will be converted to a text,
RTF, CSV, HTML or a searchable PDF file.
